ECO TV
Following the very successful broadcast of the first season of Eco TV on MBC1 TV at 20h00 in 2012 which was produced by Capital Media, Eco TV’s producer, there has been positive feedback and demands for a copy of the Eco DVD TV Series by many schools. The MID Fund among several sponsors made a contribution to produce 3,000 copies of the ECO DVD TV Series as well as a book package to be distributed for FREE to all primary and secondary schools in Mauritius and Rodrigues, Mauritian universities, municipalities, village councils and public libraries in Mauritius.
The Minister of Education and Human Resources, Dr. Vasant Bunwaree,and the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Mr. Devanand Virahsawmy, proceeded on February 19 February 2013 at Le Labourdonnais Hotel in Port Louis to the launch of the 3 000 Eco TV DVD packs for distribution in schools.

ECO TV Season 2
MID Fund has continued to support Capital Media for the launching of its Season 2 ECO TV Series, starting to be aired on MBC 1 at 20h20 during the weekdays as from March 4 2013. The objective of these broadcasts is to promote environmental awareness among Mauritians, showing them simple ways to do in the day to participate in the environmental and the existence of a sustainable Mauritius. All themes was developed in collaboration with experts in ecology and practical "sustainable".
Among the 100 broadcasts to be aired, MID Fund provided Capital Media with at least 20 macro themes to be developed.
Find Eco TV every day at 20:30 on MBC 1 and rebroadcast at 17:00 on the same channel.
